Every year the Chamber sponsors an Easter Egg Hunt for the children age 1-8 of the community. Local Girl Scout Troop 2293 actually runs the Easter Egg Hunt for us. We thank the girls and their leaders for their community service. This is their last year to assist us. They are passing the torch on to another girl scout troop in St. Joseph. The girls stuff over 1200 plastic eggs with goodies for the kids to find. The Easter Bunny takes time out of his busy schedule to stop by and say “Hi” to the kids. The Easter Egg Hunt will be March 27th at 10 a.m. at Crestwood Park. The event begins PROMPTLY at 10 a.m. When the hunt begins, it's over in minutes as the children move VERY fast across the lawn looking for eggs. Children are encouraged to bring a basket or sack to pick up eggs. Pictures below are from a previous easter egg hunt.
