Chamber Annual Banquet |

The Chamber had its Annual Banquet on April 7, 2008. The chamber announced its Officers and Executive Board for the 2008-2009 year and presented awards to the following. Citizen of the Year was presented to Donald C. Wilson for his 69 years involved in Boy Scouts and his community involvement in the community. From running a business to teaching Sunday School, to encouraging boys to become men and leaders as a Scoutmaster. Pauline Walker, Walker’s Hallmark, was presented with the award of Business of the Year for 50+ years of owning and running a business in St. Joseph. We also had entertainment provided by the SJO Drama Dept. They presented 3 songs from their upcoming musical, School House Rock Live. Rev. Mark Harris talked about how individuals need to work together to better the community. All proceeds from the banquet will be used to assist flood victims in the St. Joseph area. |
